Sub-menu UCS Setting
Sub-menu ini memudahkan pengguna SLiMS untuk mengatur SLiMS yang digunakannya agar dapat terhubung dengan peladen katalog bersama (UCS) tanpa harus bersusah payah mensetelnya secara hard code (ke dalam berkas sysconfig.local.inc.php). Ruas yang berada pada sub-menu ini adalah:
Enable UCS, dipilih opsi "Enable " apabila SLiMS yang digunakan akan disambungkan ke peladen katalog bersama berbasis UCS;Auto Delete Record . Apabila kita menghapus data eksemplar dan bibliografi pada menu Bibliography, maka jika opsi dipilih "Enable " maka data bibliografi yang serupa di peladen katalog bersama akan ikut dihapus;Auto Insert Record . Jika kita memasukkan data bibliografi dan eksemplar, maka SLiMS akan secara otomatis memasukkan data ke dalam pangkalan data peladen katalog bersama;
Beberapa ruas selanjutnya, informasi yang dimasukkan harus sama dengan informasi yang diisikan pada konfigurasi simpul pada peladen katalog bersama.
Server Address . Merupakan alamat SLiMS yang datanya akan dimasukkan ke dalam pangkalan data peladen katalog bersama;Server ID. Isinya harus sama dengan setelan pada peladen katalog bersama;Server Password . Isinya harus sama dengan setelan pada peladen katalog bersama; Server Name . Isinya harus sama dengan setelan pada peladen katalog bersama.
